The peer pressure to be stressed

A strange phenomenon I've noticed is a reluctance to be happy, even when things are relatively going good. This can be attributed to a subconscious need to fit in. Knowingly or unknowingly, a lot of people pick up these signals to start worrying and stressing for no apparent reason.

There is a fear that if they are happy, they will be left out, or cannot fit in or maybe even they will have no one to talk to since everyone around is stressing and wallowing in their problems.

It is almost as if there is some guilt around being truly happy. So much that, there is always a distinct need to sabotage any happiness, just to fit in with the crowd.

Sadly, to make matters worse, there is also a lot of media reinforcement if this kind of message.

Here is a small tapping script for those who know they can be happy, but are stuck in the subconscious trap.

KC Point - Even though I know I can be happy, I just cannot seem to be happy, I still love accept and forgive myself.

KC Point - Even though I am unable to escape this feeling of feeling down and depressed, I still love accept and forgive myself.

KC Point - Even though I want to be happy, I have plenty of reasons to be happy, but it just feels so difficult with all the stress around me, I still love accept and forgive myself.

EB point - I want to be happy, but I've forgotten how to be happy.

SE point - I have so many reasons to be happy, but it still feels so tough.

UE point - I can be happy, but I've no one to share my happiness with.

UN point - How can I be happy when no one else around me is happy.

CH point - I have a lot to be grateful for, but something is still pulling me down.

CB point -  I feel trapped in this melancholy.

OH point - But I still choose to love accept and forgive myself.

EB point - It feels so pointless.

SE point - I can be happy, but it just feels wrong.

UE point - Everyone around me is so miserable. So how can I be happy?

UN point - If I am happy, is it even real?

CH point -  I feel I've even forgotten how to be happy.

CB point - Every time I am happy and I see someone around me miserable, it feels so wrong to be happy.

OH point -  But I still choose to love accept and forgive myself.

EB point - But what if I can be happy and help others be happy too?

SE point - What if I can help them vibrate at a higher level instead of getting pulled down by others.

UE point - Or what if I choose to be happy and stay happy and attract other happy people around me.

UN point - I do have that choice.

CH point -  The choice to stay miserable or to get happy and see where that road takes me.

CB point -  I am ready to shake off this feeling of melancholy now.

OH point -  And I choose to love accept and forgive myself.

EB point - I give myself the permission to be happy now.

SE point - To be joyous and laugh.

UE point - To have fun and to share and spread this joy.

UN point - I give myself the permission to break free from the rut

CH point -  And be grateful for all the wonderful things around me.

CB point -  I choose happiness now and am ready for the shift to happen.

OH point -  And I choose to love accept and forgive myself.

Repeat these rounds a couple of times with along whatever words your intuition gives you too. Also if you seriously feel your present company is not doing you any favors, go out there and find your own tribe. They are waiting for you. Go have fun.  See you all in the next post.

Resistance and Denial

Most problems faced by us meet with one of these reactions. Either a firm resistance or a stoic denial. In both cases, in the absence of acceptance, the problem festers, grows, multiplies, and sometimes develops in repeating patterns.  But what is the difference between resistance and denial? Resistance is being very aware of the problem and fighting it with various emotions. Most times it is anger, frustration, worry, fear, sadness or any form of desperation to get rid of it. With more resistance, there tends to be obsessive thinking about the problem, till it grows too big to handle.  Denial is different. There is a problem, but there is also a refusal to even acknowledge the problem. In fact, on the contrary, there is a tendency to make excuses, blame others, situations, and circumstances for the problem. In this case, there is also a tendency to feel that if we don't look at the problem. it'll disappear.  But the subco

EFT Tap - For believing in miracles

It has been a long time since I've posted here. But considering the current circumstances, with Coronavirus turning all our lives upside down, panic and fear looming large, one sentence mentioned by a friend stood out to me. "I believe in miracles." So how is it possible to even think of miracles with countries all over the world going into lockdown. For those who are new to eft, please check here:  https://eftwayoflife.blogspot.com/2017/03/eft-wholesome-tool.html Resources are available all over the net too : I tapped on it and I am sharing a few EFT scripts to help you also tap on it. It is my sincere belief that if we all can focus our miracles, it is bound to happen. So here it is: KC Point - Even though I am really scared worried and stressed now and have no idea how to focus on miracles, I still love accept and forgive myself. KC Point    - Even though the whole world is really s

Thoughts Vs Emotions

For those who have been practicing EFT for a while and the newcomers to EFT, it is really simple that once we have done a couple of rounds of EFT, it reveals a lot of things to us. When new emotions come up, it is really good, all we have to do is address them with another round of EFT. But sometimes our sweet intellect takes over and we start getting a number of thoughts, some memories, some perceived thoughts where we start analyzing the thoughts as possible connections to the issue at hand and start tapping on them. This takes us away from the issue. I hope you are with me so far and are getting what I am trying to say. For Example, if the issue at hand is you are feeling bad about something someone said to you, after a couple of rounds of tapping ideas come to your head and you start tapping " Even though I think xyz said this to me because..... " That becomes analysis rather than focusing on emotions. Even if such a thought does co
